About us.

Knines Group, is a venture capital firm based in Sri Lanka. The firm specializes in technology startups, providing seed funding, venture capital and private equity. Knines Group was founded in 2016 by Kalhara Hapuarachchi, who is also the founder of Washapp, Alittle and many of Knines ventures.

At its core, Knines is an organization that identifies hard problems and assembles experts, IP and experiments that allow us to learn about these problems deeply. Once we have conviction about a solution, we will then execute — by building, buying or investing in whatever it takes to solve the problem we identified.

Donation platform

Alittle Foundation is a non-public foundation initiated by Knines Group in 2020 and is Sri Lanka’s first Internet funding platform for cloth donations.. With a focus on environmental sustainability and reduction of carbon footprint, it strives to promote technological innovation to solve social problems and bring inclusive development opportunities to the world.
